Mark Laughton - Legal Practitioner

Mark Laughton is an active member of the local Balnarring community. He has lived in the area with his wife Fiona and their two children for 20 years,

and appreciates what the village style community offers his family. He is also a life member of the Balnarring Junior Football Club and is the Vice-President of the Crib Point Football & Netball Club.

 

Mark joined BSA Legal in October 2011 after nearly 23 years with Victoria Police, specialising in covert policing.

 

Mark brings to BSA Legal an enthusiasm for his new career and a wealth of life experience both of which he will apply to the firm's traditional areas of practice as well as the areas of Criminal Law and Family Law.

Camilla Burdon-Smith - Practice Manager, Legal Practitioner &
                                           Nationally Accredited Mediator

Camilla Burdon-Smith was admitted to practice as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia in 2014.

In 2016, Camilla obtained a Professional Certificate of Management from the Melbourne Business School and hence is our Practice Manager, managing the daily in and outgoings of the firm at a highly professional standard.

In 2017, Camilla undertook all requirements to become a Nationally Accredited Mediator.

Having grown up in Balnarring, and only ever moving away for study commitments, Camilla has a great understanding and love for the small community of Balnarring and is dedicated to protecting her community.

Sue Ellison-Whyte - Lawyer

Sue Ellison-Whyte has been working in Conveyancing and Legal Administration since 2008 both in the public and private sectors, after having a prior background in Local Government and Higher Education Research.

She lives locally with her son in Balnarring and has been for 5 years, although her association with Balnarring goes back almost 20 years. She is a member of the Red Hill Football Club Women's Team and is a member of the Point Leo Life-saving Club, recently completing her Bronze Medallion.

Sue is experienced and willing to help with any of your needs in Conveyancing. If you are planning on buying or selling your home, Sue is ready and able to assist!

Jame works in the area of governance mainly for Not for Profits including advice and

conducting training in Australia, Africa and Asia.
